Welcome to TNT Kid's Church & Lil Dynamite's Nursery

At Corvallis Foursquare Church, our kids, infant through fifth grade, experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. We aim to empower our kids with the knowledge of Jesus and the experience of the Holy Spirit with fun, creative activities & games.

Your First Visit

When you come for the first time, it is best to plan a visit so we know you are coming and can guide you through the check in process. Here's what to expect, when you first walk in, you will be greeted at the door, then one of our volunteers will lead you and your child to their age appropriate room for infants to 5 years OR to the check in table for kindergarten through 5th grade.

Upon checking in, we will ask for the following personal information. Disclaimer: we value your privacy and we’re not going to share this info with anyone. Here’s what we’re asking for. Parent/guardian names, child’s name, child’s age and grade, if snacks are ok and any special instructions such as allergies or special needs for your children.

How Check In Works

At Corvallis Foursquare Church, you will check in your child with our check in sheet. Infants through 5 years go directly to the nursery room before service starts, there you will check in your child and write their name on a name tag to put on their back. Please make sure you give our volunteers special instructions such as if your child needs a bottle, what time, etc. After you check in your child you will go to the auditorium to enjoy service.

For children who are in TNT Kids Church, Kindergarten through 5th grade, upon arrival, you will go to the lobby where our check in table for that age group is. You will check in your child with our check in sheet and write their name on a name tag. Please note, Volunteers know that kids are checked in based on if they are wearing a name tag or not so please don't skip that step. After you check your child in, you will find a seat in the auditorium and enjoy worship. After worship, during the greeting period, our kid's volunteers will lead your kids back to their classroom where they will enjoy a fun lesson about Jesus.

Nursing Moms Room

If you are a new mom or your child still nurses (or just become's fussy during service) we have a room specifically for you. The nursing moms room is located in our front hallway across from the bathroom. In this room there is a couch, a changing table, and other basic supplies.

Esther Hanten is our early Children's Director. She overseer's Lil Dynamites Nursery and gets the privilege to teach your children all about Jesus.

She is a wife and a mom of two children and she has a passion for planting seeds of faith in young children.

Her earliest memory is of her Sunday school teacher, a true woman of God, praying over her class and empowering the kids to pray over each other. She prays that your children can have the same lasting memories of kid's church and lead a life inspired by Jesus.

Sarah Kelley,

Sarah Kelley is our Children's Director and overseer's TNT Kid's Church.

She is a wife to her husband and a mom to her teenage son. She has a passion and drive to teach kid's about the heart of God in creative and exciting ways. Each week she prepares an engaging, hands on lesson for the kids.

"My love for children's ministry is not just because I love kids. It's not just because the church needs volunteers. My love is mainly because serving in this ministry lets me participate in building the kingdom of God. It increases my own faith too. I'm the teacher, but often times it's the kids that teach me. I want to provide a program that kids have the most fun they can have learning about Jesus and the Bible. I want kid's church to be the place kids can't wait to come back to every Sunday!" - Sarah Kelley

We are super excited about what God is doing in our kid's ministry here at C4. This ministry has started to grow rapidly in a short amount of time. One of our values at C4 is to create space for young people, and that includes our growing kids. We also have the vision to align all ministries to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to produce Jesus Followers. Our heart and passion are to empower the next generation and come along side of parents to be apart of training up these children.

When you become apart of the children's ministry you are saying yes to what God is doing in these kids lives. We are looking for people who have a heart for kids and who love being around them. All lesson plans are planned in advance. In the classroom, the kids worship, pray, craft, and they are even learning how to tithe and what it means to give to God's Kingdom. With the churches support through volunteering, giving, and praying, we will see the kids in Corvallis impact our community and their generation. Thank you for considering being apart of this ministry!

I remember being the tender age of 4 and understanding that Jesus loved me. This isn’t a morning babysitting job, you are helping plant seeds of faith into these kids lives! You are helping to train up these children so that when they grow older they will not depart from Gods truth. We would love to add you to our team of volunteers!
